Puzzlendar is a series of puzzles.  Each version is a mixture of a puzzle and a perpetual calendar.  The goal of these puzzles are all the same: fill the tray but leave the current date empty! The Monthly version is the easiest in the series.  It has two separate problems, one for the month and one for the day.  The month part has only 3 elements.  It can be a good introduction for kids to put together puzzles.  The day of the month is more difficult - it has 5 pieces.  The Monthly puzzle has 31 + 12 total challenges.
