5 Sun 10 Step Hinode-Fuji

This beautiful Japanese puzzle box requires 10 steps in order to open it.  Made in the Hinode-Fuji pattern. Japanese Wood Mosaic works are manufactured in Odawara,Hakone JAPAN. Natural colored wood materials are assembled together into a board with a beautiful mosaic pattern, and sheets of this board are pasted onto boxes for decoration.  There are approximately 60 different mosaic patterns. Japanese wood mosaic is called Yosegi (Koyosegi). The sun in the name is a Japanese form of measurement.  Each sun is approximately 3 centimetres in box length.  The more steps in the name - the harder it is to open the box.  The last part of the title is the name of the pattern displayed on the box.
